We've put together a list of everyday, ready-to-drink-now wines that are perfect whether you're pairing them for a dinner with self-quarantined household or having a Zoom happy hour with friends.
1. Anne Joyeuse Malbec 2018
Malbec from the Pyrenees. Black fruit that is a little jammy but well structured. Slight chocolate notes. Deep and full flavors with a subtle creaminess at the end. Amazing value. Enjoy with barbecueof any kind.
2. Camille Cayron Cotes-du-Rhone Village Le Chêne Noir 2018
A lovely expressive wine with bright perfume of black cherry, winter spice and a delicate black peppery lift. Concentrated, juicy and fresh with succulent tannins. Goes with any kind of meat or grilled chicken.
3. Chateau St. Cosme Little James Basket Press Rouge 2019
From one of the finest estates in Gigondas in the Rhone Valley. A smooth and medium-bodied Grenache. It has vibrancy, however, with a dash of power on the long finish. Wonderful flavors of cherries, strawberries and spice. Good with stews, hearty soups and even fatty fish.
4. Gran Passione 2019
A rich, deeply-colored blend of Merlot and Corvina grown in Italy's Veneto region. Full-bodied with good structure and a good balance between soft tannins and acidity. Generous palate of ripe red and black fruits with a long finish. Fantastic accompaniment to roasted or grilled meats, game or mature, hard cheeses.
5. Ferrandiere Syrah 2017
Full bodied, fruit forward with good length. Lots of ripe dark berries, hints of white pepper and aromas of dark chocolate. Pretty good value from the Pyrenees. Good with meat, dark chocolate and cheese.
6. Villa Schinosa Laghiglione Puglia Rosso 2015
From the heel of the Italian boot. Soft and elegant with a rich and well-structured body. Ripe fruit and spicy notes. People keep coming back for more of this wine which is extremely versatile in food parings.
7. Franco Roero Grignolino D'Asti 2018
Fresh raspberries on the palate of this lively, fruity, summer red made from the Grignolino grape in the Piedmont. It's refreshing, can be slightly chilled and is great for picnics, with pizza, and Italian cold meats.
8. Tintero Rosso NV
A blend of mainly Barbero and Dolcetto from the Piedmont. An easy, tasty, versatile red that is fruit driven with soft tannins. Great for casual meals. It's unfiltered and has a screw top.
9. Paolo Scavino Vino Rosso 2019
A delicious blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Merlot. Fresh, aromatic and charming. Can be served as an aperitif or with a meal. Great with anything with tomato sauce, grilled meats, pizza.
10. Fontanafredda Briccotondo Barbera 2018
The nose is packed with black fruit, especially blackberries and plums, with slight spicy overtones hinting at black pepper and cinnamon. Sweet, soft tannins come together in a closely-woven texture that merges with the fruit, while a crisp freshness provides a long, tasty finish. A perfect match for starters, cured meats and fresh and medium mature cheeses.

From Marlborough, New Zealand, a balanced and refreshing wine which boasts ripe pineapple, melon, guava and fresh green-leaf flavors accompanied by flinty

A velvety Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley with crisp citrus notes rounded by a creamy center and herbal
accents. Lots of mineral flavors in this very expressive wine. Beautiful with fish, chicken either grilled, roasted or with a cream sauce.
3. Ariddu Grillo 2019
Grillo, a cool white grape from Sicily, produces this crisp and savory, mineral-driven, wine with an exuberant burst of stone fruit and citrus notes on the long, polished finish. Enjoy with grilled fish, tempura, pasta, and ripe cheeses.
4. Berthier Coteaux Du Giennois Sauvignon Blanc 2018
This is a bright wine from the Loire Valley, full of crisp apple and citrus flavors. With its light texture, slightly yeasty character, herbal edge and final freshness, it is quite an attractive wine.
5. Quinta De Chocapalha Arinto 2018
A fragrant light bodied wine from Portugal from the Arinto grape. Delicious fruit and good acidity. The wine is lively, perfumed and crisply textured. Think shellfish or white fish.

This wine is crisp and bright, with with subtle floral and mineral notes on the finish. Bracing acidity backs up this lively wine from the Languedoc Roussillon which takes its name from the grape. Great with oysters or any type of fish. And a wonderful summer aperitif.
7. Naipes Mus 2018
Organic and biodynamic. Garnacha Blanca grown at high altitude in limestone soils in the Navarra region. Aromatic, minerally and good acicity.
